Hello all,

Name: Michael

Location: Ballyea, County Clare

Hope you are all keeping well. I just joined the 501st, Rebel Legion & Reel Icons Ireland forums last weekend. Have been a long time Star Wars since the early days - have been reading up on the options to progress and hopefully get clearance. I really love the idea of 'bad guys doing good' and having loads of fun along the way.

I was thinking of buying a SANDTROOPER PRO BUILT SUIT from RS Prop Master  (not sure if there are other reputable alternatives) and side arm from breaking the mold Dublin. All new to me - so would really appreciate any thoughts/recommendations.

Look forward to meeting you all and contributing in any way I can.

Hello Michael & welcome to our forums.

It will be great to have a TK to add to the ranks.

RS propmasters are well known maker. There are cheaper kit options if you are OK with building a kit yourself.

Jimmy in Breaking the Mold has done loads of jobs for our troopers, so you should be fine with his work.

Welcome Michael, and I can echo Shane that both makers are well known for their quality. My own DLT is from Breaking the Mold. Be sure to create a build thread in the "Mos Eisley Police Department" section of the forum once you get underway, and don't be afraid to ask if you have any questions at all.

Hello Michael and welcome!

Im Richard and one of the Garrison Member Liaison.
I’m based in Waterford myself and have a Shadow Scout and ANH Stormtrooper.

RSprops is definitely a good one - I’ll drop you a message shortly.

Keep an eye on the events calendar also. Great way to meet and greet in person!

Everything a price has, however, isn’t always money, the price is.
