There's no rush is getting a costume completed. Some of us can take months or years to finish a costume build. Feel free to sign up as a crew member & attend events, so you can see how we get on at troops & it gives you a chance to chat to us & ask any questions you may have.

Bubble lenses are never a good idea I ripped mine out after my 1st troop in my tie pilot & replaced them with flat lenses

You can buy the kit or for more credits, you can ask to have the kits finished & helments completed. It all depends on how good you are working with ABS plastic & assembling kits. You can also buy TKs from Shepperton & TK & scouts from RS propmasters in the UK. Scouts can also be bought from Chefs creations, also based in the UK. I got my TK from Shepperton, my shadow TK from RWA. I got my shadow scout from Chelfs creatioins & my old tie pilot from Andy in the Shed of glittering delights.

I've only been to the Guinness Storehouse & yes, the views of Dublin from the gravity bar are spectacular. Do you know where in Dublin you are staying before heading off to Galway? I can see if we can arrange to meet on the evening of the 30th.
