OK guys.  We have done this troop a number of times over the past few years and it has always been a great event.  Dolores has advised that they will be making a donation to charity on our behalf as usual.  There will be a secure place to get changed.  She will provide refreshments.  And once she has the numbers she will arrange parking.  We normally attend this event just for the one day but Dolores has said if we wanted to do two days she would be delighted to have us there.  

Here is what the event is all about

What Happens at the Dublin International Tattoo Convention

We bring together people who share an interest in tattoos and piercing. You will have the opportunity to meet and hang out with thousands of other people interested in tattoos! The tattoo culture itself is amazing and full of open-minded people. Great opportunity to get out and actually meet people. Also a chance to network and exchange information on the latest techniques and trends.

There are, booths with products and services, competitions and contests, giveaways, art exhibitions and workshops related to tattoo industry issues. There’s food, drink and entertainment. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more details.

And, yes, you can get tattooed and pierced at the convention. If anything, it is one of the best places because you have an opportunity to get tattooed by artists of note who might otherwise be out of reach due to geographical distance or availability. 

Even if you are not sure if you want a tattoo, going to the convention will help you become more comfortable with the process as you can watch tattoos being done and talk to the artists. You might even leave with your very first ink 🙂

 

NOTE: Due to current infection rate, the organisers of the event are letting in only fully vaccinated people. This applies to us as well.

TIME - Ready to troop at 1400 till 1700 (you can go later if you wish)

OK guys.  I was off the forum for a few days.  Im in the middle of a million things including moving my mother in law over from the UK to Ireland and buying a new house.

Anyway, Ive been in touch with the Tattoo Convention and its all still going ahead. I think I have the sign up correct, bnut if I dont please let me know.  The guys at the convention have some car parking passes.  Let me know who needs one.  

No problem with Cadet Sean attending.  Shane is going to be there for the two days so he will be the lead for this event.  Shane can you touch base with alan and give him your phone number.  Alan when your going to the RDS with your daughter give Shane a call and he will get you into the RDS.  If you can give Shane an idea of what time you will be there that would be great. 

Let me know about parking tickets if you can today

Sorry guys but I have decided to sign down now from this troop and nothing to do with covid but I have been cast for a lead role in a feature film and I have 65 page script to learn by the the time we start shooting from December 4th to December 11th so I need all spare time I can get. So hopefully then my next troop will be Yulefeast unless things change for the worst , fingers crossed. Anyway guys have have a great troop .

A car parking pass would be great for myself please. Though if they're limited I can get there some other way if others are coming from further afield.

Hi Dave,, I have to Drive to and from ,, So a Car parking Pass would be brilliant.. Saturday only,, Let me know if you need My Reg or anything
