Hi everyone,

My name's Danielle or Danni. I've been working up the courage to join the forums for at least a year at this stage! I spoke to some of the guys here at comic con in Belfast in September 24 and fully intended to have my costume finished and signed up by the end of the year but life got in the way. It was a scout trooper, I still hadn't decided but I was leaning towards the Mando version.

This year though, or rather 2026 at this stage, I'm committing to getting the costumes I'm working on done.

I have a FO tie pilot which belonged to a former 501st member before he passed away. It was previously approved but needs new gloves and some small adjustments before it could be approved on me. That's top of the agenda for me.

Following that, I have the previously mentioned scout and a shore trooper in the works along with an animated phase 1 commander Bly, but it's very much in the early stages.

Looking forward to hopefully getting approved and trooping in 2026!

Hello Danni,

Welcome to the forum, I see that you have several kits on the go already. So I'm looking forward to seeing those submissions.

Though you can still get involved with the garrison and get to know our members by signing up to events as a crew member. It's a great way to see how things work on a troop, but more so to help our visually impaired troopers to navigate.

To get the ball rolling on that, if not done done so already. Head over to the the Crew Rank Request. From there you can request access and you will be able to see our upcoming events that you can sign up to.

I would also suggest a read over the welcome topic Welcome new members, this will give you a good base of knowledge to get you going.

After that if you have any issues, questions or just need advice on kits. Everyone here would be more than happy to help where they can.

Also seen your doing a shoretrooper, which is great as there are a good few of us in the process of completing various versions of that kit. With 2 that have already been cleared by our members. So there is plenty of fresh help and info here for that kit. I would definitely take a look at the Shoretrooper Group Build Thread

Other than that, welcome again and hopefully we will see you out at one of the events soon.
