Hi my daughter is a cadet and was wondering can she go or is there something she has to do prior to attending these events as it is potentially her first outing.  She would be attending as Bo Katan

Hi there, if you haven't already you'll need to register with the Galactic Academy - @Dropkickshould be able to help with that. Any cadets will also need to be accompanied by a guardian on each troop, but we look forward to providing a warm welcome!

Once you have registered yourself as guardian & your daughter as a cadet at http://galactic-academy.net you are all good to join us.

Just make sure you are there with her on the day as our troopers have very poor vision & hearing when we wear our armour buckets.

thank you @Dropkick  & @tipperaryred she is over the moon and racing to finish her blasters now!!  She is already a member of Galactic academy (member number 6007) so I guess next I must register as a guardian is there a specific procedure for that?

It's brilliant to hear this.

In order to register your daughter as a cadet, you should have applied on the GA website as a guardian beforehand.

You can check that you & your daughter are registered at http://galactic-academy.net/Account/Login

I would strongly suggest you please engage with us on this point. Between the 501st and Rebel Legion, we’re more than happy to point you in the correct direction.

@Daniel if you mean your account on www.rebellegion.com that doesn't mean your costume is approved. I sent you a video with instructions on how to have your costume approved via private message a while ago. Please follow instructions on that video so that your costume can be evaluated by a Rebel Legion Costume Judge. Once it's approved I'll receive a notification and grant you member privileges...since than you can join join as crew to a troop, but not in costume.
